Dr. Daniel Nguyen grew up in Houston and graduated with honors from Eisenhower High School. He did undergraduate work at Baylor University and attended medical school at UTMB in Galveston. He completed his internal medicine residency in Austin before moving back to Houston to work as a hospitalist at Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital. Dr. Nguyen has dedicated over twelve years to medical education and training. He is one of only a handful of physicians who is double boarded in internal medicine and obesity medicine. Now as medical director of MD Weight Loss, he concentrates on preventative medicine by diagnosing and treating obesity and its related diseases.
