I just have to share this with people who will understand. At my 6-month follow-up, I found out that my surgeon also performs skin removal surgery and even works with insurance to get it covered. The relief I felt was overwhelming — I don’t have to go through the hassle of finding another surgeon, fighting with insurance, or wondering if I can trust someone new. They specialize exclusively in metabolic and bariatric surgery and conditions, so you always feel like you’re in expert hands.
