I had my surgery with Dr. Thompson at UC Health, and my experience has been awesome so far. I’m about 2 ½ months out now and feeling really good about my progress. I was able to start the process fairly quickly and got most of my appointments scheduled in a timely manner. That said, because this was during 2020 and the height of COVID, there were some delays. It also took several weeks for insurance approval, and then another few months before I could get a surgery date. All in all, the process took about a year from start to finish. Looking back, though, it was absolutely worth the wait. Dr. Thompson and the UC Health team have been fantastic and really supportive throughout this entire journey.
