I chose Dr. Katherine Lamond at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC, after learning she completed her fellowship at Johns Hopkins and serves on the teaching faculty there. From start to finish, I had an excellent experience with Dr. Lamond, her surgical team, and the hospital. The nursing staff was exceptional, and my recovery was made more comfortable by a recently renovated private room—complete with a large TV positioned perfectly for bedside viewing. I would highly recommend Dr. Lamond and Sibley to anyone considering bariatric surgery.
