Dr. Shawn Garber is a bariatric surgeon currently serving as the Director of the New York Bariatric Group, as well as the Chief of Bariatric Surgery for the Catholic Health System. Dr. Garber attended New York Medical College, before completing a residency in general surgery at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After this, Dr. Garber completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery at the George Washington University School of Medicine.
