Dr. Sina Matin is a board-certified surgeon with a specialty in bariatric and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Matin is currently serving as the Section Chief of Surgery at HealthTexas. Dr. Matin earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, before completing his surgical residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston. After this, Dr. Matin completed fellowships in laparoscopic surgery and trauma and burns at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston.
