A truly outstanding team (Dr. Kamran Samakar, MD)
After researching several surgeons for my gastric sleeve procedure, I ultimately chose Dr. Samakar, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. A close family member trained alongside him in medical school and spoke highly of his skill, dedication, and professionalism, which gave me a great deal of confidence from the beginning. Dr. Samakar is everything you would hope for in a surgeon—kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He takes the time to answer questions, explain everything thoroughly, and makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. Most importantly, he treats his patients with respect and compassion. I also want to recognize Darlene, who has been absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help coordinate appointments, communicate with offices, and navigate insurance questions that had left me frustrated and confused. She always kept me informed and handled everything with professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude. What stands out most about this practice is how much they truly care. Every interaction has been warm, supportive, and personal. The entire team made me feel valued, never rushed, and always supported. I am incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Samakar and his staff and would highly recommend them to anyone considering bariatric surgery.
